A New Year of Backgammon Tournaments

A new year is upon us and while most people are thinking about getting rid of bad habits this year, avid backgammon players can look forward to a new year of tournaments. So far, more than 100 tournaments have been scheduled for 2011, starting with 19 tournaments in January.

While you can expect the most seasoned backgammon players to be heading to these events, beginner players can also participate. Many of these tournaments will have special tournaments for beginner players, so even if you just pick up the game recently you too can enjoy the fun that comes with these events while sharpening your skills.
