Boardgames Booming

There is no doubt that this year many people will be enjoying their flat screen TVs, video game console, and the latest digital innovation they received for Christmas. But to many people surprise, the sale of traditional games like dominoes, backgammon, chess and Jenga have more than doubled compared to last year sales.

Some people point to the current tough economic times to explain the peak interest in these classic games. While that could be true, it could also be the fact that unlike video games and other electronics, board games are something that can be enjoy by the whole family for years to come.
